Creative Portfolio

Background

The is a website to showcase the creative works and accomplishments of my friend Evy. I started by presenting a few different design mockups and after some refinement, we landed on a final design and I was able to build Evy just the site she was looking for.

The Project

Being a portfolio site, the project is pretty straightforward. Though Next.js may be a bit overkill for a static site like this, I decided I wanted to try out Sanity again as a CMS. I also used this as an opportunity to try out a few new tools:

• Shadcn - It was very easy to get set up with my base components and will definitely use this in the future, especially when building out component libraries.
• Tailwind v4 - Aside from the changes in how it's configured compared to v3, my experience was no different than usual. It's still great and invaluable.
• Motion - I'm very impressed by what this library can do, and am excited to play around with it more.

Working on this project was a great experience, as I collaborated with Evy from design to production, making sure it looked and functioned exactly how she wanted. Nothing beats a satisfied customer!
